Why do we need LoveINC in our community?
The needs in our community are complex. Churches, individuals, and community agencies operating independently of each other can fall short in meeting our community’s current and growing levels of need. When local churches work together and in partnership with other agencies, they can more effectively and efficiently meet multi-faceted needs and transform lives.
Does it work? Absolutely! LoveINC practices a model that has been developed and proven with over 45 years of experience in 110+ communities across 29 states, mobilizing 5,600 churches and helping over 20,000 volunteers find meaningful ways to show and share the love of Christ in their community this past year.

How does LoveINC work?
The Connection Center
The Connection Center is the foundation of the LoveINC ministry and serves as our assessment and referral center. The Hub receives requests for help, screens the requests, verifies the need (to the extent possible), and then refers the request to a local church or community agency. After people are helped, LoveINC follows up to ensure the need was met and to offer continued spiritual support.
Gap Ministry
As the Connection Center receives calls for help, ‘gaps’ in community services and resources are identified. These gaps in services and adequate resources in the community by helping local churches develop ministries that meet tangible needs in our area–a Gap Ministry. The local church determines what ministry(ies) they want to be involved in–not LoveINC. Our role is to assist in an advisory, connecting and equipping (if needed) capacity.
Transformational Relational Ministry
Who benefits from LoveINC?
- People in need receive coordinated help through a network of church and community services and resources.
- Individual volunteers involved in local church are given the opportunity to use their unique gifts and talents in specific, tangible and manageable ways to serve others.
- Local churches no longer working alone, churches partner together to serve the community as one Body of Christ.
- Community Agencies can expand their service capacity by referring people in need to LoveINC or by receiving referrals from LoveINC.
- The entirety of our community grows in unity and strength.
